Message from EABC President on Europe Day

Message from EABC President on Europe Day

Dear EABC Members,

On the occasion of Europe Day, I would like to extend my warm greetings to all of you. Europe Day is celebrated on May 9th every year to celebrate peace and unity in Europe.

As a member of the European Association for Business and Commerce (EABC), we are committed to promoting closer economic ties between Europe and Thailand. We have taken a leading role in supporting the EU-Thailand Free Trade Agreement and have already been actively engaging with both the EU Delegation and Department of Trade Negotiations, as well as other organisations. We strongly believe that a comprehensive and ambitious agreement will significantly enhance trade and investment flows between our regions, creating new opportunities for our members.

I would like to take this opportunity to inform you about our upcoming luncheon seminar titled “The next phase of EU-Thailand Free Trade Negotiations,” which will be held on June 9th. Our keynote speakers include H.E. Mr. David Daly, EU Ambassador, Ms. Auramon Suputhaweethum, Director General from Department of Trade Negotiation, Dr. Wisarn Pupphavesa, Senior Advisor from Thailand Development Research Institute (TDRI), and Dr. Thitinan Pongsudhirak, Professor of International Relations from Chulalongkorn University. This seminar will provide valuable insights into the upcoming phase of EU-Thailand Free Trade Negotiations, and offer opportunities for networking and discussion with industry leaders. Please stay tuned for further communication regarding this event.

We have several exciting events lined up in the coming weeks, and I invite all of you to actively participate. As we work towards our goals, we emphasize the importance of your support and engagement. We encourage you to stay updated and actively participate in our events. Together, we can build a stronger and more prosperous business community in Thailand.

On behalf of the board of EABC, I would like to thank you for your continued support.

Farid Bidgoli

President
